Expand Collapsed Mind Map Nodes
Some of the mind map nodes are collapsed to prevent the mindmaps being too crowded. If you wish to expand a node, simply click the circle with a dot inside after the node you want to expand, or press the space bar once that node is selected. You can also do the same with an already expanded node to collapse it. The node connecting circles will contain a dot if there is more to expand and will be empty if already expanded.
Pan Around the Mind Map
- Mouse: Left click anywhere on your mind map and move your mouse.
- Trackpad: Scroll with two fingers.
- Keyboard: Use the arrow keys to switch between topics.
Zoom In and Out
- Mouse: Hold CTRL on your keyboard and scroll with your mouse wheel.
Alternatively, you can click the plus (+) or minus (-) icons in the bottom-right corner of the map editor. - Keyboard: Press the plus (+) or minus (-) keys.
- Trackpad: Pinch in or out to zoom.
Recenter the Mind Map
- Mouse: Click the centre map icon in the bottom-right corner of your screen.
- Keyboard: Press F6.
